Privacy-sensitive data or personal details are processed through our webshop. MaxiMondo/Tistaco Europe B.V. considers the careful handling of personal data to be of great importance. Personal data are therefore carefully processed and secured by us.

We adhere to the requirements of the privacy legislation in our processing. This means, among other things, that we:

clearly specify our purposes before we process personal data, via this privacy statement;

limit our collection of personal data to only those required for legitimate purposes;

first ask you for your explicit permission to process your personal data in cases where your permission is required;

take appropriate security measures to protect your personal data and require the same from parties that process personal data on our behalf;

respect your right to access, correct or delete your personal data at your request.

MaxiMondo/Tistaco Europe B.V. is responsible for data processing. In this privacy statement we explain which personal data we collect and use and for what purpose at the webshop www.maximondo.com. We recommend that you read this carefully.

Your account

You must first register for certain parts of our webshop. You must then provide information about yourself and choose a user name. With this, we create an account, to which you can log in with this user name and a password of your choice. For this purpose, we use your payment details, name and address, billing address, date of birth, email address, telephone number and gender. We do this on the basis of your consent. We retain this information up to six months after you close your account.

We save this information so that you do not have to fill it in again each time and so that we can contact you in connection with the execution of the agreement. You can adjust information via your account whenever you want.

We work with certain companies, which may receive your above-mentioned personal data from us.


Order handling

When you place an order with us, we use your personal data to process it properly. We may then give your personal data to our delivery service to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company.

For this, we use your payment details, email address, billing address, gender, name and address and telephone number. We do this on the basis of your consent. We keep this information until your order is completed. We retain certain customer data for a longer period in connection with the statutory tax retention obligation.

Contact form and newsletter

You can use the contact form to ask us questions or make requests. For this, we use your telephone number, gender, date of birth, name and email address. We do this on the basis of your consent. We keep this information until we are sure that you are satisfied with our response and six months thereafter. This way, we can easily access the information in case of follow-up questions. It also allows us to train our customer service to be even better.

We offer a newsletter to inform interested parties about our products and/or services. Every newsletter contains a link where you can unsubscribe. You can also report this via your account.

Your email address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your consent. This data will be kept for three months after you cancel the subscription.

We would like to send you advertisements about offers and new products or services. We do this:

Our webshop displays general advertisements. We do not keep any personal data, so we have no way of knowing whether you like them.

With the exception of the aforementioned partners, under no circumstances will we pass on your personal data to other companies or institutions, except if we are legally obliged to do so (e.g. if the police demand it in the case of suspected crime).


Statistics

We keep statistics about the use of our webshop. Social media buttons are included in our webshop. Using these, the administrators of these services collect your personal data.


Cookies

Our webshop uses cookies. Cookies are small files in which we can store information so that you do not have to enter it every time. But it also allows us to see that you’re visiting us again.

When you visit our webshop for the first time, we display a message explaining cookies. Using this, we ask you to agree to the use of these cookies.

You can disable cookies via your browser, but some parts of our webshop will then no longer work properly.


Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our webshop. We have concluded a processing agreement with Google. This contains strict agreements on what they are allowed to keep. We have not authorised Google to use the Analytics information obtained for other Google services. We do not let Google anonymise the IP addresses.


Security

The security of personal data is of great importance to us. We ensure that your data is properly protected. We constantly adjust security and pay attention to what can go wrong.

We reserve the right to make changes to this privacy statement. It is recommended that you consult this privacy statement regularly so that you are aware of any changes. We will do our best to announce changes separately.
